- This contest is opened to manga artists. You can send 1,2 or 3 pages of a comic OR illustrations.

- It has to be black and white, 5X7,5 inches including the bleed.

- It must be at least 300 DPI

- No offensive content : must be General

- File has to be save as EPS file.

- French will be revised OR it will be translated in french if you write it in another language.

- Might be some old work but has to be given before january 9th, this year.

Concours s’adressant aux artistes Mangakas & Illustrateurs

Bonjour, nous avons libéré 3 pages dans notre publication manga, Mangue C (le collectif de la série Mangue chez Kyowa).

Nous offrons 3 pages noir et blanc de 5X7,5 pouces d’une résolution de 300 DPI pour des illustrations ou mangas originaux classés pour tous (G-rated).

Les fichiers doivent être en EPS… Le français sera révisé par nos correctrices ou traduit s’il est en anglais.

Vous pouvez utiliser du matériel déjà réalisé. Vous avez le droit à une signature et une adresse web (par exemple votre Deviantart) : vous n’aurez qu’à la mentionner dans votre courriel à info@kyowaquebec.com.

Nous choisirons les illustrations et les mangas reçus en groupe et vous aurez une réonse positive si vous êtes choisis.

La date limite de remise des projets est le 9 janvier 2010.

Si tout va bien Mangue C pourra être présenté lors de la convention de G-Anime en février…

It's the first story I ever imagined. Since my sketches were very lame at the beginning, I redid it. But then it was a very long story so I had plenty of time to perfect my art and again I thought the first drawings were lame.

So I ended up drawing the first chapter (about 50 pages) three times. Now, I'm tired of redoing it over and over again. That's why I decided to do it as a webcomic. And I do believe that my skills are at a good level. Not REALLYYYY good, but good enough. I must admit I like it the way it is now.

I'm starting a comic 'til I start to work for real. You'll only have the sketch pages since I don't know what use I'll give it. Plus they aren't that messy since there's ink...And you can't argue!
